About Dr. Mauk - Dr. Michael Mauk received his Ph.D. from Stanford University. His research focuses on the mechanisms of learning in the cerebellum and prefrontal cortex. The hallmark feature of his research is the combined use of experiments and computer simulation to address what brain systems compute and how their neurons and synapses accomplish this computation. Dr. Mauk’s ultimate goal is to understand the cerebellum well enough to build fully functional simulation.
