About Dr. Elston: Dr. Elston received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from The University of Otago in New Zealand, followed by postdoctoral fellowships at the University Tübingen and UC Berkeley. He joined the UT Department of Neuroscience as an Assistant Professor on 2024. His lab focuses on understanding the neural dynamics that enable cognitive control of behavior and value-based decision making.
