The Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program Training Grant was Renewed!! Congratulations to PIs Amy Lee and Nace Golding, and all the members of the neuroscience administrative team that were invaluable in supporting and managing this grant submission!
The T32 training grant for Predoctoral Training in Interdisciplinary Neuroscience ($2.3 M) has been successfully renewed by the NIH for 5 years and is now entering its 21st year of continuous support. Since 2004, this grant has had a multi-dimensional impact in providing rigorous and innovative PhD training in neuroscience, facilitating collaborative high-impact research, and promoting mentoring and outreach across the neuroscience community at UT-Austin. These T32 training grants are highly competitive — ours is 1 of only 35 in the US. Continuation of this award is really a testament to tradition of excellence of in Neuroscience training and research that UT-Austin is known for.
